Description
The Xesta Diver Down Jig Heads EX descent vertically with a free fall motion, but at the same time maintain a stable, horizontal posture when retrieved, or when the lure touches the bottom.
The Diver Down EX jig heads are ideal when we want our silicone bait to have a natural, up and down vertical motion and right and left dart actions. As a result it is possible to target a wide range of species, such as Rockfish which lurk near the bottom, with Light Rock Fishing or Ajing fishing styles.
This Xesta Jig Head is ideal for situations where the prey does not respond to right and left darts, but we need the jig head to explore vertically, the strike zones in various depths.
Xesta designs and produces three types of jig heads, called Black Star Diver Down. All three jig heads have many design elements in common and a few differences, which are better explained in the table below. One main difference of the Xest Diver Down Jig Heads EX is that they are made with Mustad hooks, of thinner shank, in golden color and address more the needs for Ajing fishing.

The position of the eyelet and the center weight of the Jighead, ensure that the silicone bait sinks head down, like a tiny worm trying to hide in the bottom. When the Diver Down jighead touches the bottom, the silicone lure will remain in a horizontal position.
