The technological innovation of this Jig Head, is the result of intensive trial and error. Japanese company Tict managed to commercially register it, as a special patent .

The whole idea was to create a jighead which easily gives intense motion, to anything attached to it and at the same time, preserve a very close contact and feeling sensation. This could have been accomplished by playing with its hydrodynamic factor. Hence Tict hollowed the body of the jig head, creating a channel that makes something like a hand of a bulldozer, or like its name suggests a Bulls Head. This jig head produces great resistance to the water, in a way that the hook and our soft lure vibrate and move like no other jig head. This movement still continues even when the jig head pauses during descent.

The Tict Bull Head specializes in slow presentations, in which our lure, despite the slow speed, has a very intense motion. Its shape gives us an incredibly accurate, direct contact with our soft lure, or biodegradable bait, that we cannot achieve with the classic jig heads, because of their small resistance to the water. So either by jerking, or by steady retrieval, we are able to feel our lure to an incredible degree. This jighead can be literally used in every part of the water column.

The key with the Bullhead is to create the sense that we are constantly in contact with our lure. We will see that its resistance is stronger that with other jig heads of the same size and our feel will be incomparable. It only takes short jerks and pauses to give an incredible liveliness to our soft bait. The drop and generally its movement is straight, without swirls and reminds the natural movement of fingerlings.

For the body of the hook, Tict has developed some flattened spots, another innovation, which because of the adhesion, they do not allow our lure to slip away. The hook has a shank that creates a slight angle, so is able to respond even at abrupt strikes, which usually fail to hook the fish.

As the hooks edge is pointing upwards it produces a deeper and more immediate penetration. This hook angle has been adopted from all manufacturers of fine fishing tools and created a trend. The very end of the hook has been flattened in order to produce an easier penetration. The large concentration of carbon material on the hook makes it thin as a pin, but incredibly sturdy for its size. The body of the jighead is specially designed, so nothing could happen to it during the long and abrupt tensions, which are created by the use of braided lines and sudden hook ups.
