Description
The Sigal Sub Nemesis Invert HT speargun has been designed for demanding spearfishermen, who mainly fish with planning and ambush techniques. The Nemessis is the epitome of innovations by Sigal Sub, not so much for the Invert system, already known in the spearfishing world, but for the meticulously thought-out accessories that equip it, such as the lightest muzzle in the world to stand out.
The muzzle is one of the amazing pieces of art of the Sigalsub Nemesis HT. Its design permits to have its weight reduced and the size and shape to be compact. It features a rigid, strong part in the upper surface, near the holes where the line passes through. This gives the muzzle amazing strength. At the same time, the central 8 mm diameter steel axle on which the two rollers spin, is rigid. The remaining parts of the muzzle are made of fiberglass, thin enough to keep the overall weight low and elastic enough to bend, but not to break.
Sigalsub has carefully selected the best rollers, so as to offer great performance and significant weight reduction. The rollers are made in POM, Polyoxymethylene, also known as Acetal. It is an engineered thermoplastic material used in precision parts, requiring rigidity, low friction and excellent stability.
The Nemesis Invert HT barrel is Ø28mm wide, made of Anticorodal Aluminum alloy 6005-T6. It is equipped with a pre-installed shaft guide, which minimized friction during shooting, increasing aiming accuracy.
Depending on the length of the barrel, one, or two pairs of 16mm Sigalsub Extreme bands are hooked underneath the handle, that Riccardo Iacovacci had designed, with the launch of the standard Nemesis speargun. From the very first, he took under consideration the possible future developments of such a great speargun in a Roller, or Inverter versions. A third pair of 16mm Sigalsub Extreme bands is connected laterally to the barrel, just in front of the handle, thanks to two small eye bolts. All three pairs of rubber bands, are connected together via two pulleys, one on each side, tied with extremely strong 2mm Dyneema. The rope is rolled over the rollers and then is connected in the outer [side of the muzzle.
Without the need for a loading tool, the spearfisherman can easily take hold of the loop, connected to the wishbone and pull it all the way down along the shaft, hooking the wishbone on the shark fin he prefers.
After this, the Sigalsub Nemesis HT can be turned upside down and a first couple of rubber bands can be hooked. In the final version of the Nemesis HT the first couple to be hooked is the one with the line in black colour. The final couple of rubber bands has a white line to be hooked under the handle . The Nemesis HT can then be turned back in the right position and the upper bands can be hooked to the last shark fin.
The Sigal Sub Nemesis Invert includes an assembly Kit, following the instructions in the manual provided.
A reel is not included.
The Sigalsub Nemesis HT is available in 5 barrel lengths: 76, 82, 92, 104 and 116 cm.
