Designed for traditional slalom racing at maximum power, the Mach 6 has improved performance in every aspect for 2024. Technological advances have enabled a new approach to sail design.
A new panel design along the beam links the downhaul tension to the entire sail body. Increased luff curve for higher liner tension and an ultra-refined entry profile make the Mach 6 perform in all dimensions. While maintaining an open leech design, the release is tuned for a sail that breathes when it needs to and offers upwind when it does not.
The result: higher performance at low revolutions, higher top speed and therefore a longer range. With fewer sails to cover the same range, each Mach 6 size will cover a wider wind range. A responsive racing machine, the Mach 6 reacts decisively to rider commands for gold-level performance. Race to win.

This Severne Proto Mach6 Speed 6,3 V4 2023 was a series of prototypes to develop the Speed version of the Mach6. The prototypes have no design and the sheath is black. To launch a sail to the market many different sails are tested and the most successful ones tend to get more use.
It was used by our rider for half a season and as you can see in the pictures it has some normal wrinkles from being furled. We rate the glider at 6 /10.
