Description
The Quicksilver 853762 Trim Tab Anode fits all Mercury, 25-50hp EFI engines. It is the genuine Quicksilver Part for Mercury and Mariner Outboard Engines.
It is being produced to meet Mercury Marine original equipment manufacturer specifications.
This zinc trim tab is for fresh water, or salt water use. The extended trim tab plate fits in the trim tab anode cavity of the anti-ventilation plate, to help prevent corrosion of aluminum, or stainless steel engine parts and aid in offsetting steering torque.
Inspect anodes periodically for best protection and replace when seeing signs of corrosion or pitting.
It is easy to install with existing hardware and common tools.
