The Power Queen 12.8V 100Ah, Low-Temp Lithium Battery is equipped with a high quality 100A BMS, that can bear higher current loads. The new BMS can withstand 500A current in 1 second. Can be used for 12V – 36V Trolling motors, with 30-120lbs thrust.
The Power Queen 12.8V 100Ah is the perfect Lithium Battery for powering Trolling Motors and electric fishing equipment, such as Fish Finder, GPS, solar system, etc. It is also a good choice as a home energy storage battery, in low temperatures during the winter.
The upgraded BMS, with a Low Temperature Sensor automatically stops charging, when the battery has been connected to a charging source and the cell temperature is below 0. Once the batterys cell temperature is above 0, the BMS resumes charging and begins charging the batteries. This protects the battery from damage even in cold weather.
The Power Queen 12.8V 100Ah Low-Temperature LiFePO4 battery is made with high quality, Grade A LiFePO4 battery cells, that have up to 10 years lifespan, with 4000+ Cycles at 100% DOD, 8000 Cycles at 80% DOD and 15000 Cycles at 60% DOD. In contrast, AGM/SLA/FLA batteries typically only last 3 years, with 200-500 Cycles. Power Queen battery offers 3x the lifespan and 4x the cycle time. This is a truly trustworthy deep cycle battery.
The Power Queen 12.8V 100Ah LiFe PO4 battery has 1280Wh energy. Allows maximum expansion up to 4S4P to get 48V 400Ah battery bank, it can supply 20480Wh energy , widely used for outdoor, RV and solar systems. Meanwhile, the 12.8V 100Ah Low-Temp LiFe PO4 battery is only about 11kg, which is smaller and 2/3 lighter than the Lead Acid battery with the same capacity.
To summarize Lithium batteries perform better and last longer than many lead-acid batteries. They weigh less and take up less room. They can provide a higher percentage of nominal capacity than lead-acid batteries, without shortening their life. They maintain voltage through almost all the discharge cycle. Lithium batteries last up to 10 times longer than their lead acid counterparts and they still provide 80% capacity after 2000 cycles.
Lithium batteries have to be charged with a special charger. Although any commercial Lithium charger can be used, their longevity and smooth operation require the use of a specialized charger. The Power Queen Life Po4 12.8V 100Ah battery is suggested to be charged by the company’s 20A charger.
If you connect your Electric Anchor to a Lithium-Ion battery, while fishing, then a useful accessory that will continuously feed the lithium battery with current, is a Li-Ion battery Charge Controller. The Li-Ion Battery Charge Controller is connected between the Lithium battery and another energy source, which in most cases is a Lead Acid 12V 36V Battery, or a Solar Panel.
Note: The Power Queen LifePo4 12.8V 100Ah battery, cannot be used as a starting battery.
