You can assemble the Daiwa Shad with the Daiwa Jig Head designed for this soft bait. The Daiwa Shad can be effective in all fishing techniques, scraping along the bottom, straight, towed or simply jigged. It’s aniseed odor makes the difference in difficult fish such as sea bass.

The Daiwa Soft Shad silicone lure, except the realistic motion of the paddle tail, swims with its entire body length, in a left to right pattern. This motion produces and maximizes the effect of vibrations and water displacement, making the Daiwa Soft Shad even more realistic.

When dealing with long and heavy silicone baits it is imperative to add an assist hook in the tail, to increase the chances of hooking predators attacking from the rear. Just make sure not to use a heavy assist hook, as this can interfeere with the paddle tail’s motion.

Jigheads are not included in the packaging. An effective setting can be accomplished with one of the following jig head:
