Daiwa Infeet Seabass Rods

Description

A new addition to Daiwa’s spinning rod family, is the Infeet Seabass series. Four rods, out of the many that belong to the Infeet family, each of which bears a reference to the fishing style it best serves.

The Distance Cast rod has a Casting Weight of 7 28 g and is suitable for lures and soft baits. The Shake II has a Casting Weight of 10 35 g, but a length of only 2.52m, so it is more suited to inshore fishing from sharp, rocky shores with deep water. With the Distance Shot rod you can cast slightly heavier lures over longer distances, while the Easy Cast II is the even shorter version of the Shake II.

Daiwa Infeet rods feature a high density HFV carbon fiber blank, made with X45 Cross Braid technology. It was not by chance that this technology was chosen by Daiwa as it offers the Infeet rods extremely low weight and a very fast tip action. In addition, wrapping X45 Carbon material, around the entire blank, eliminates power loss, further supporting the angler.

Another technology used by Daiwa in the Infeet series, is the placement of spiral carbon fibers, ensuring a very thin blank, with extra strength when needed. This manufacturing process involves the placement of spiral carbon fibers at an angle , unidirectional fibers, on three layers and then two additional carbon layers laid in a reverse weaving arrangement of 45°. The two additional layers of carbon sheets, have been given the name to the technology of Bias Cross Wrap. Blanks with X45 carbon winding have elasticity and return to their original state, regardless of the loading angle of the blank.

With HVF technology, Daiwa has reduced the resin content of the blank and increased the carbon fiber content, to produce a denser weaving during the polymerization process.

Infeet rod guides are Fuji K Alconite with a stainless metal frame for excellent braided line management and tangle prevention.

The overall result is a series of low-weight rods, easy to use, because of their targeted design. They are also comfortable for long hours of fishing. The angler finds that the rod becomes an extension of his arm, as it transmits every command, to every type of lure.
