The Crazee Baitcasting SW150 is not like all other reels in its category. Alpha Tackle designed the SW150 to open the door, to Ultra Light fishing styles and to make it a necessary addition to rods, that can not perform with heavier Baitcasting reels.
The main feature of the Crazee SW 150 is the low profile, shallow and light weighed spool. This feature is imperative for a successful Micro Jigging fishing session. The shallow, light weighted spool needs to rotate freely and allow the tiny jig sink naturally to the bottom. A deep spool, due to its volume and weight, slows down the lure and does not provide this option. Therefore, if you are an Ultra Light Jigging, Tenya, or Tai Rubber enthusiast, there is only one way when it comes to choosing the right gear.
The Alpha Tackle Crazee SW 150 incorporates all those characteristics that are required from a sturdy bait casting reel: corrosion resistant body and parts, frame that can handle difficult battles, strong gearing and a Power Handle with an extra sized knob that allows you to exert power. Its smooth operation is supported by 5+1 ball bearings.
Replacement spools, for the Alpha Tackle Crazee BC SW 150 baitcasting reel are also available. Having a spare spool, allows for flexibility, as you can have a different width braided line, already spooled. Replacing the spool is very easy in the Alpha Tackle Crazee BC SW 150, by pressing the tiny lever and opening one side of the frame.
