Description
The hexagonal, wing sinkers, made of lead, featuring a swivel are suitable for long casts and the Surf Casting fishing style, especially in areas with strong currents.
The two flaps on the side, can assist the sinker in many ways during casting, sinking and retrieving. Classic leads without wings, quickly reach the top point of their trajectory and then free fall. The «wings» on the side of the sinker help the weight to continue its course and perform a more elliptical trajectory, reaching greater distances.
When sinking, or retrieving, the sinker doesn’t swing wildly in every direction, creating slacks in your fishing line. Instead, its profile forces the sinker to «glide» resulting in better control of your rig. And when you «retrieve» a few meters of line, the rolling of the wings lifts soil from the bottom of the sea, fooling the fish and making them think that there is a living organism there, part of their food chain.
The hexagonal sinkers can also be used from the boat for Vertical and Sabiki fishing.
