Hooks by Linea Effe, specially developed for the traditional Trolling rig for the Atlantic Bonito.

A very popular winter fishing style, is that of the Atlantic Bonito, with surface Trolling. Targeting Pelagic species can become easier and more pleasant by using the Bonito Trolling rig, which is a traditional fishing tool used by amateur fishermen, for many years.

More specifically, we rig in-line some hooks, decorated with feathers, on very short branch lines up to 5 cm long, so that they can all be consecutively tied on the main line. The distance amongst the hooks are from 60 to 100 cm. At the end of the Trolling rig, we place a lure – preferably a sinking Minnow – so that it pulls down the rig and gives motion to the hooks.

Surface Trolling for Bonitos is a very efficient, traditional fishing style. With the Linea Effe 50512 feather hooks you are presented the opportunity to revive this old fashioned style of fishing and experience the thrills of catching this beautiful fish.

Linea Effe used strong 2/0 hooks, a size ideal for Bonito fishing, so they are both sturdy, yet discreet inside the feathers. The hooks are straight and finish in a ring. The feathers also include iridescent tinsels.
